Please read the section below that is relevant to your presentation type. For more information about the presentation types, you can refer back to the submission guidelines.

If you have any questions about preparing or submitting your presentation, please reach out to the Deakin Downtown team via email at nndrs2026@deakin.edu.au

Oral presentations

  • Individual oral presentations will consist of 5 minutes presenting time, plus 1 minute for questions (total 6 minutes per presenter)

  • Presentation slides must be prepared and submitted as a PowerPoint slide deck and the slide size/format must be 16:9

  • Slides must be submitted to the Deakin Events Team by no later than 6 February 2026.

  • Submit your slides via this Dropbox link.

  • Presentations must be labelled as followed “Full Name – Presentation title – Oral Presentation”

  • More details on how to submit will be added here as they become available.

Digital poster presentations

  • Posters at the Summit will be presented to in-person attendees via a virtual display at the venue, as well as to virtual attendees online via the event app. As such, posters must be submitted as a digital file.

  • Digital posters must be submitted as a PDF file. No other file formats (i.e. video file, image file, etc.) will be accepted.

  • Your poster can be in any layout of your choice (i.e. horizontal or landscape), and may be of any paper size (i.e. A3 or A4).

  • Your poster must be a maximum of 1 page.

  • You may embed hyperlinks to other resources within your poster if you wish.

  • Presentations must be labelled as followed “Full Name – Presentation title – Digital Poster Presentation”

  • For the virtual display in the immersive room, the Deakin Downtown Events team require only the title of your presentation and a headshot image. The team will then generate a QR code that will link directly to your !-page PDF virtual poster within the virtual app.

  • Due to the number of presentations being displayed simultaneously and the font sizing required to ensure clarity and avoid pixelation on the screens, additional text or information is unable to be included in the immersive room display. Should this change, we will contact all virtual poster presenters with updated requirements.

  • The Deakin Downtown team will create the QR code on your behalf.

  • Poster presenters are asked to submit a headshot to the Deakin Downtown staff to be used in the virtual display. To submit this, please email nndrs2026@deakin.edu.au

  • To help you visualise how the display might look, Deakin Downtown have provided example pictures of a similar display. You can view the example in Image 1 and Image 2

  • Digital posters and headshot for the display must be submitted to the Deakin Downtown Team by no later than 23 January 2026.

  • Submit your poster via this Dropbox link.

  • More details on how to submit will be added here as they become available.
